Worship Leader Full Time

First Baptist Church of Valley View is seeking a Worship Leader to lead Christ-centered, Scripture-aligned worship and provide leadership for the worship ministry in partnership with the Senior Pastor. This role includes worship planning, team leadership, and volunteer coordination.

Position: Full-time preferred (part-time considered).

Salary: up to $48,000/year (based on experience and role scope).
Key Responsibilities
·      Lead congregational worship with spiritual sensitivity and musical excellence.
·      Plan worship services with the Senior Pastor (themes, song selection, flow, and transitions).
·      Prepare and lead rehearsals; provide charts/lyrics and coordinate musicians and vocalists.
·      Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage worship and production/tech volunteers.
·      Coordinate worship for special services, seasonal events, and church-wide gatherings.
Reporting Structure
·      Reports to the Senior Pastor; collaborates with staff and leads worship/tech volunteer teams.
Qualifications
·      Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with church beliefs.
·      Demonstrated ability to lead worship and develop teams (musicians, vocalists, and volunteers).
·      Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
