Student Ministry Associate (Female) Full Time

ActiveJOB TITLE: STUDENT MINISTRY ASSOCIATE
REPORTS TO: High School and Middle School Director
QUALIFICATIONS
● Mature, growing disciple with a consistent devotional life
● Meets the spiritual qualifications found in I Timothy, Titus, and I Peter
● Must be excited, positive, and cheerful about hanging out with students and their families
● Ability to plan and coordinate fun and exciting events and programs under the vision of the High School and Middle School Pastor
● Familiar with current trends related to students, parents, and families
● Must be able to lead, train, and disciple student ministry volunteers.
● Must be flexible to respond to changing needs throughout the daily and weekly schedule.
● Commitment to support all areas of the student ministry and of FBCW
● Commitment to an agreement with the statement of faith of FBCW
● It is expected that this person is now or will become an active member of FBCW
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Small Group Coordinator
● Recruit, train, invest, and build up our leaders
● Maintain a thorough comprehension of the ministries current curriculum
● Develop and implement a volunteer training plan
● Create personal moments and experiences to make our volunteers feel special
▪ (Notes, cards, gifts, meals, texts, phone calls, ect.)
● Partner with our small group coaches to ensure that the needs of our small group leaders are met.
▪ (Attendance, supplies, extension of the pastors shepherding, ect.)
● Missions
● Implement the overall vision developed by the High School and Middle School Director
● Recruit team leaders and adult volunteers
● Evaluate ongoing trips and assist in the development of new trips
● Create and sustain yearly timeline for missions
● Take ownership in Woodstock Student missions
● Ministry Responsibilities
● Invest relationally in our students through attending games, events, and scheduling hangouts.
● Be present for and help plan our regular programming on Wednesdays and Sundays
● Give a female perspective on all events and regularly scheduled programming
● Work alongside a team of women to create and implement a girl’s ministry strategy
● Be an active participant on the student ministry team by participating in both Middle and High School ministry.
● Communicate effectively in a timely manner
