Ministry Intern Internship

Are you a current student called by God into ministry in the church? Are you looking to gain hands-on experience doing impactful ministry while being guided, mentored, and learning alongside others?  If so, then we invite you to apply for an internship at First Baptist Dallas.

The Internship and Residency Program is a year-long, cohort-style, paid internship at First Baptist Dallas. This program is designed for future leaders currently enrolled in college or seminary, who are called by God into ministry. Each intern will be supervised by a First Dallas staff member, will be rooted in a specific ministry area, and will gain first-hand experience working in ministry. The intern cohort meets in person weekly for Bible study, ministry training, and fellowship. Interns will receive one-on-one mentorship, shadowing experiences across the church, and leadership development during their internship. This cohort will start in August 2026 and run through July 2027. Interns are expected to work 20 hours a week and must be present at ministry team meetings, ministry programming, and internship cohort meetings.
