Pastor – Lead Full Time

Founded in 1963, we are an autonomous Southern Baptist congregation in Southwest Ohio, serving the city of Hamilton and the surrounding communities. We are seeking God’s will as we call our next pastor.

The church gathers for Sunday School and morning worship on Sundays and for Wednesday night Bible study. Sunday worship is traditional, with prayer, congregational praise and hymns, and preaching. Our primary outreach is an annual summer Vacation Bible School, and the youth attend a week-long camp each June. Average Sunday attendance is 50–55.

Pastor Jake Day began in September 2021. He, his wife, and their young children left in June 2026 to return to their hometown area in Kentucky, where he now serves as a bi-vocational pastor. Since his departure, deacons and association pastors have been filling the pulpit.

Freedom Baptist Church is looking for the man God is calling here – someone with vision who will encourage people to love Jesus, connect here, and go serve. If you meet most of the qualifications on the next page and sense the Lord leading you to explore this opportunity, please:

– Read our “What We Believe” statement at fbcofhamilton.org/what-we-believe and email us, noting where you agree and, if applicable, where and why you differ.
– Attach your résumé and cover letter.
– Include three ministerial references.

Send everything to [email protected] . Our Search Team will treat your information with confidentiality and care. We look forward to hearing from you and will be in touch with the next steps.

Respectfully,

Elected Pastor Search Committee Members of Freedom Baptist Church
