Associate Pastor Full Time

Gashland Baptist Church is seeking a full-time “Associate pastor” to serve alongside the pastoral team in church administration, member care, preaching, and teaching. This role will provide pastoral counseling and visitation, help assimilate and disciple members, develop future leaders within the church, and share in preaching and teaching.

This position needs to be filled by a man who holds the qualifications of pastor/elder/overseer as demonstrated in Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with church budget implementation and administration
• Overseeing facilities, website, social media, and communications
• Providing pastoral care, counseling, visitation, and member support
• Conducting new-member interviews and overseeing member assimilation

• Coordinating funerals and bereavement ministry
• Preaching and teaching during Sunday services and Wednesday evening ministries
• Discipling members and developing future ministry leaders
