Youth Pastor Full Time

Position: Youth Pastor
Location: Genoa Church
Reports To: Senior Pastor

Job Summary:
The Youth Pastor will lead and oversee the middle and high school youth ministry, ensuring a welcoming, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment for students. The position requires a passionate individual committed to fostering the spiritual growth and development of young people within the church.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute weekly youth services on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings that are relevant and impactful for middle and high school students.
Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that includes worship, teaching, fellowship, and outreach components.
Coordinate and lead youth events, such as retreats, mission trips, and community service projects.
Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers and youth leaders to assist in various aspects of the youth ministry.
Maintain regular communication with parents and provide updates on ministry activities and student progress.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in youth ministry or a related field.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to connect with and engage young people from diverse backgrounds.
A deep personal faith and a lifestyle that reflects biblical principles.
Educational background in theology, biblical studies, or a related field is preferred.

About Genoa Church:
Genoa Baptist church located north of Columbus Ohio is looking for a youth pastor to oversee all ministries for middle and high school students.  The church has 2 campuses with over 2200 in weekly attendance along with a Christian school of 700 and a Bible Institute.
