Worship Leader Full Time

Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile, AL is seeking a full time Worship Pastor to lead and help grow the ministries of our church.  Along with the Senior Pastor, the Worship Pastor will have clearly defined administrative responsibilities as well.  GSBC is a Christ-centered, Bible focused church that uses a blended approach of contemporary and traditional music in our worship gatherings. The ministries of GSBC also include a Child Development Center and Government Street Christian School (K-12). 

We are prayerfully seeking a worship leader who has a passion for connecting with a crowd and leading them into intimate worship encounters. We are seeking someone with a strong commitment to personal spiritual disciplines and a strong work ethic.  Qualifications for the position will include music proficiency, leadership experience, spiritual maturity, strong organization and communication skills, and a desire to work with our staff to reach out to our city and genuinely minister to our city, especially those who are far from God.
