The Director of Music and Family Ministries will have job responsibilities divided between Music Ministry (45%), Family Ministries (45%), and General Ministries (10%).  Primary emphasis is on music ministry, where chief duties are planning, organizing, and leading the congregational music for worship services.   Leads the worship team (Praise Band, Audio/Visual) and organizes and prepares materials for practices & worship services.   Should be comfortable with traditional hymns as well as contemporary praise music.  Must be able to sing well and be proficient on guitar.  Primary family ministry duties include developing, promoting, and maintaining ministries for children and youth.  Leadership opportunities may include programs such as Children’s Church, Youth Worship, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, etc.   General Ministries may include any area of Christian Ministry in which the church is involved.  A more detailed job description may be provided upon request.
