Lead Pastor Full Time

Grace Baptist Church (GBC) is prayerfully seeking a full-time Head Pastor—a faithful, Spirit-led man called by God to serve as the primary shepherd and spiritual leader of our congregation. Rooted in prayer and biblical truth, he will faithfully preach and teach God’s Word, shepherd our members with humility, and provide biblical leadership for the church while overseeing the ministry of other pastors and leaders. GBC is a Southern Baptist church affiliated with the Northwest Arkansas Baptist Association, and we are seeking a pastor committed to the authority of Scripture and the Great Commission who will lead our church to grow in discipleship and engage our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preach and teach biblically sound sermons and lead Bible studies to encourage spiritual maturity
• Provide pastoral care, including counseling, visitation, and support for individuals and families
• Cast a clear vision in alignment with Southern Baptist values to fulfill the Great Commission
• Oversee church operations, staff, and ministry teams in collaboration with deacons and leadership
• Lead worship services in coordination with the worship team
• Represent the church with integrity in the local community and build relationships for outreach
• Develop discipleship programs that equip and mobilize members for ministry and missions
• Encourage and lead both local and global evangelism and mission efforts
 
 
Qualifications:

• Devoted to prayer, seeking the Lord’s guidance in all aspects of ministry
• A personal testimony of salvation and a consistent walk with Christ
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and commitment to biblical inerrancy
• Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Head or Senior Pastor, with preferably 10 years of progressive pastoral ministry within churches aligned with Southern Baptist doctrine
• Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or similar degree from an accredited Southern Baptist or evangelical seminary preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Meets the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Strong leadership, preaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A heart for missions, discipleship, and equipping others for service
 
 
Preferred Skills:

• Experience in church growth or revitalization
• Technological proficiency (e.g., livestreaming, church communications, social media)
• Ability to mentor leaders and foster multigenerational engagement
 
 
Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $57,000–$72,000, based on Lead Pastoral experience and education
• Parsonage (current rehabilitation underway), in accordance with church policy
• Benefits include health insurance allowance $10,000
