Worship Leader Full Time

Grace Place Baptist Church is a multi-generational Southern Baptist Church located in southeast Oklahoma City. We are a growing congregation with approximately 400 in worship on Sunday mornings. Our members love the Lord and desire to worship Him. We have two services, both of which could be described as “blended”, but we prefer to say that we sing the “timeless classics” from every age. By that we mean, we sing great songs of the faith that will never go out of style, whether they are a traditional hymn from 1724 or a contemporary favorite from 2024. We use a praise band and worship team in both services.

We believe that worship is man’s truest and best response to God’s revelation of Himself to us. We are looking for God’s man to lead us in expressing our worship to Christ through communicating our joy… our reverence… our repentance… or our surrender to Him. It is easy at times to get into a rut in worship. You would work with our Lead Pastor to design our weekly worship experience in order to keep it alive, fresh, and dynamic. Our hope is that you will help our faith family grow in their understanding of biblical worship and lead them to express it without having reservation or becoming an exhibition. Worship should be our new nature.

We hope you can help us increase involvement in our worship ministry through developing innovative and creative ways to use music and the arts in the areas of worship, fellowship, and outreach. Achieving our vision will require an understanding of lighting, sound, information technology, audio/video, and social media. We hope to present our most excellent offering to God each time we come before Him. We currently livestream our services, as well as record and archive them, to bless those in other times and locations as well. We are praying for you as you seek God’s will regarding this ministry.
