Responsibilities:

• Plan worship services with our pastors to ensure thematically integrates services.
• Assist in leading the congregation in worship on Sundays or at other ministry events.
• Oversee technical aspects of worship services (lighting, sound, presentation software, etc.). Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to serve in the worship ministry, both musical and technical aspects.
• Be willing to serve in other areas of ministry as needed at Happy Valley.

Weekly Expectations:

• Communication with the Pastor about the direction and focus of the service
• Song selection, as well as any other liturgical elements needing oversight or direction
• Plan for and lead band practice
• Schedule volunteers and liturgy using Planning Center Services app.

Compensation:

The Associate Worship Leader shall be compensated $100 weekly, gross pay, for each week of leading worship.
