Pastor of Worship & Families Full Time

God is moving and working in many wondrous ways at Heartland Baptist Church. We are currently seeking a full-time Pastor of Worship & Families to join our pastoral team. This man will be called to provide leadership in two key areas of ministry:

• Worship – Lead Christ-centered, biblically faithful, and corporate worship gatherings that are musically excellent and engaging, while also equipping and shepherding the worship team (musicians, vocalists, audio/visual technicians).
• Families – Oversight of preschool, children, and student ministries and their respective ministry directors, providing the tools to equip parents to be disciple-makers, and to guide the next generation to know and follow Jesus, through modeling, mentoring, and providing opportunities for service.

Qualifications:

• Clear testimony of faith in Christ and displays a life of growing maturity that meets the requirements of a pastor/elder/overseer in 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
• Ordained to pastoral ministry, or ready to pursue ordination. 
• Musical ability to lead worship (vocally and instrumentally).
• Experience in worship and/or family ministry (preferred).
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• Bachelor’s degree required; seminary training preferred.
