Pastor Part Time

Hebron Baptist Church is faithfully seeking the next bi-vocational pastor that God has led to our doors. Hebron Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church that was established in 1889. Our church values the rich heritage of Christian worship, including traditional hymns and gospel songs. We are located between Liberty and McComb in a small rural community in Amite County, Ms. We have an average of 50 in attendance at our worship services on Sunday mornings and 20 attendees in Sunday school. We also have Bible study on Wednesday nights.

We are a diverse congregation of all ages. We have a solid foundation that supports our children’s and youth programs. We have a strong administration and are looking for the next man that God has chosen to lead our congregation . We are seeking a pastor that will prayerfully preach the Gospel with biblical teachings, provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care for the congregation, provide support in our outreach/mission goals, and other pastoral duties such as weddings, counseling, and funerals as needed.

Our pastor should also work hand in hand with the local association, our church leadership, and committees. We are hoping to increase our community outreach and expand our church ministries as we grow. Our pastor should be a faithful man of God with a clear pastoral calling. Previous pastoral experience and/or seminary is a plus but not needed. We hope to provide a competitive bi-vocational salary and access to our parsonage.
