Minister to Students Part Time

The Minister to Students will provide oversight of the student ministry, grades 6-12, through planning, coordinating, and evaluating activities which support the vision and core values of the church.  Acknowledging that this is a part-time position, successful leadership will require delegating some responsibilities to the Student Ministry Team volunteers.  

Requirements

1. Familiarity with and some experience in leading programs for students.
2. Ability to plan, organize, train, and supervise program and event volunteers.
3. Training or experience in spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of youth.
4. Ability to provide administration and leadership in supervising volunteer staff and interns.
5. High School diploma or GED, vibrant Christian experience, and evidence of maturity in handling the Scriptures.  Some training beyond high school preferred. 
6. Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) is required for all staff.
