Hibernia Baptist Church has a rich history of faithful gospel ministry in northeast Florida. What began as a small group of believers has grown into a thriving congregation with a strong commitment to biblical teaching, missions, and family discipleship. Over the years, God has used Hibernia to reach the community through consistent preaching of the Word, intentional outreach, and a deep investment in the next generation. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Scott Yirka, the church has experienced steady growth and expanded its impact through church planting and multi-site ministry.

Today, Hibernia continues to be a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come to know and follow Jesus. With two campuses, a growing online presence, and a vibrant Sunday morning worship experience, the church is marked by a passion for Christ-centered worship and authentic community. Ministries for children, students, adults, and senior adults are thriving, and missions—both local and global—are a core part of our identity. Hibernia remains committed to biblical fidelity, relational discipleship, and Spirit-led ministry.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead creative, vibrant, and meaningful corporate worship experiences.
Disciple, pastor, and shepherd the worship team, as well as the whole church.
Develop a leadership pipeline.
Help develop creative and meaningful worship services by coordinating creative elements with connectivity and continuity between the sermon and music.
In collaboration with the Lead Pastor, ensure each worship service is gospel-saturated, that chosen music is doctrinally sound and is led skillfully in such a way that the congregation has an opportunity to sing in accordance with (Colossians 3:16).
Utilize clicks and loops for all weekly worship services.
