Are you passionate about equipping God’s people to do His work for the purpose of growing and maturing believers in their relationship with Jesus? Highland Drive Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a dedicated Discipleship Pastor to implement and carry out our discipleship ministry.

Jonesboro is home to 80,000 residents and Arkansas State University with a student body of 15,000.

About the Role
As our Discipleship Pastor, you will:

❖  Foster a culture of discipleship

❖  Provide oversight and direction to all small groups to ensure Biblically-sound teaching

❖  Provide assistance to the senior pastor

❖  Affirm the statement of faith of Highland Drive Baptist Church

What We’re Looking For
❖  A clear call to vocational ministry and a growing relationship with Christ

❖  Passionate about reaching individuals and families for Christ, as well as leading them towards a maturing relationship with Christ

❖  A demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships and strong connections with people

❖  Compliant with the Biblical qualifications for Pastor (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-16; 1 Peter 5:1-5)

❖  A bachelor’s degree (required) and experience in ministry (preferred)

❖  Leadership skills with a collaborative, strategic approach

❖  A heart for discipleship and outreach
