Youth Pastor Part Time

Position Overview
Hillcrest Baptist Church is seeking a Bivocational Minister of Youth and Families to lead our student ministry (grades 7–12). The role of Minister to Youth and Families works alongside the Senior Pastor and ministry team in leading Hillcrest Baptist Church to accomplish our mission and vision as it relates to student ministry (grades 7-12). The primary goal of this role is to partner with families to reach and equip students to find life in Jesus. The role is also responsible for developing, leading, and evaluating all aspects of the student ministry that help communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ and embody the vision and values of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Qualifications

A growing follower of Jesus with a calling to ministry.

Aligned with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).

The pastor must be spiritually mature, trustworthy, compassionate, organized, self-motivated, and teachable.  
Be willing to be a covenant member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and be part of the life of the church family.
