About Our Church
Hilltop Baptist Church is a growing, multigenerational church with a healthy mix of young people, families, and senior adults. Our student ministry currently serves 15–25 students each week and has exciting potential for growth. After 12 faithful years, our current youth pastor is being called to a new ministry. We are now seeking a Spirit-led pastor who has a heart for the local church to join our team and invest in the lives of our students.

Position Overview
The Associate Pastor of Student Ministries will lead and shepherd students in grades 6–12 and college-age young adults. The ideal candidate will have a heart for discipleship, strong biblical teaching skills, and a passion for reaching the next generation with the gospel.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead weekly student gatherings with relevant teaching, worship, and discipleship.

– Plan and execute events, camps, mission trips, and outreach opportunities.

– Build relationships with students and their families, offering spiritual care and support.

– Follow up with new students and actively engage the student body.

– Recruit, train, and encourage adult leaders and volunteers.

– Collaborate with other church ministries to integrate students into church life.

– Represent the church in the community through involvement in events (FCA, Casper Youth Alliance, local sports, etc.).

Qualifications
– A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a consistent walk with Him.

– A clear calling to pastoral ministry and alignment with Southern Baptist doctrine.

– Experience and/or education in student ministry leadership.

– Ability to clearly and effectively teach God’s Word to students and adults.

– Strong organizational skills and flexibility in a team setting.

– Bachelor’s degree required; theological or ministry training preferred.

Accountability
Reports directly to the Senior Pastor and works in partnership with staff and church volunteers.
