Role Summary The Hope Fellowship Worship Pastor role is a part-time position. This role is responsible for prayerfully planning, organizing, and spiritually leading two worship services on Sunday morning, occasional worship nights, and special events. The Worship Pastor will also recruit, train, and build the Worship Team.

• Posses a strong ability to both engage and interact with people. This will include opportunities before and after worship on Sundays
• Readiness to handle conflict management and initiate crucial conversations when needed
• A team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire church
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ministry in a church

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead Worship Team and fill open spots as needed. Develop and manage on boarding process for team members.
• Create and execute the Sunday Worship experience while open to input from lead pastor.
• Use Planning Center to manage the scheduling of musicians and volunteers and inputting of charts, parts for vocalists, setlist, times, etc.
• Pay close attention to make sure the lyrics to the songs we sing line up with our theology and doctrine.
• Attend bi-monthly staff meetings and cultivate relationships with other members of the staff.
• Worship pastor is expected to participate in the entire worship service.
• Lead on Sundays from the overflow of your heart and personal time with Jesus
• Disciple and develop worship team
• We expect this job would require approximately 12-15 hours a week
