Director of Special Needs Ministry Full Time

Ministry Purpose of this Position: Seeking a compassionate and dedicated leader to oversee our Special Needs Ministry, providing spiritual support and inclusive programming for individuals with disabilities and their families. This role involves coordinating volunteers, developing adaptive worship experiences, and fostering a welcoming environment where everyone can grow in faith.

Key Ministry areas of responsibility: Working with Special Needs students, families, and volunteers. Leading the Adult SN Ministry and Children/Students in SN. Organizing programs and events. Setting direction for the ministries. Planning, budgeting, organizing, and overseeing the ministries.

Work Hours/Schedule:  Sunday – Thursday; Exempt position; work as needed

Education required and preferred: Undergraduate degree preferred; Experience in Special Needs.

Skills required and preferred: People skills; wisdom to make decisions and compassion; leadership skills to work in difficult situations; organization skills to oversee a variety of ministries.

Characteristics required and preferred: A heart and love for Special Needs and disabled students and adults.

Physical required and preferred: Good health and energy; must be able to lift 20 pounds.
