Camp Manager – Streator Baptist Camp and Retreat Center

The Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA) is looking for a full-time Camp Manager for Streator Baptist Camp and Retreat Center, set in the countryside of Northern Illinois just outside Streator. On-site camp housing is included. Last year the camp welcomed 80 groups and 2,400 campers. The Camp Manager oversees buildings and grounds, leads and trains camp staff, manages the camp’s finances alongside IBSA’s Operations Team, and promotes the camp to IBSA churches and other groups. Above all, the Camp Manager keeps Streator a Christ-centered place where lives are changed. The right candidate has a vibrant Christian walk, experience in camp or property management, and skills in planning, budgeting, and leading a team. He or she is an active member of a Southern Baptist church and understands how IBSA works with churches, associations, and the Cooperative Program.

Salary and benefits: $55,000–$65,000, plus good benefits. Camp housing is included: the camp manager’s residence, with utilities paid.
