Children’s Ministry Associate Full Time

ActivePurpose of Position: As part of the Next Generation Team, the Children’s Ministry Associate will provide administrative support and assist the Children’s Pastor in providing leadership to children and their families to be disciples who Come, Grow, Serve, and Go.
Reports to: Children’s Pastor
Relates Closely with: Children’s Ministry Team and Next Generation Team
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative SupportManage metrics, attendance reports, check requests, budget, calendars, website, and social media accounts
Proof and assist with all public communications
Assist with graphics, promotions, and mailers for events
Assist with cross-team coordinated efforts
Become proficient with church management software
Ministry ResponsibilitiesAssist the Children’s Pastor with the planning and execution of Sunday morning programming and Wednesday night activities
Assist the Children’s Pastor with the planning and execution of any additional events, retreats, and trips
Connect with families, students, guests, and leaders
Help support, coach, and connect with leaders
Choose, create, and lead stage games
Team PlayerWork with the Next Generation Team to execute relationship events and other additional outreach opportunities
Attendance at weekly, monthly, and irregular staff and cross team meetings
Connect Children’s Ministry families into the Church & Home strategy
Assist in the planning and execution of Next Generation Team and Church-wide events
Participate in church wide “all hands on deck” events as directed

Driven and team oriented
High level of experience with common technology programs and the ability to learn ministry-specific programs
Organized and a high attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Some ministry and administrative experience preferred
Time Requirement
40+ hours per week/ ‘whatever it takes’ mentality; occasional night and weekend work as required
Time for this position would include office hours, Children’s Ministry events, as well as other Next Generation Team special events
