Jefferson Street Baptist Church (JSBC), an established Southern Baptist Church in Eureka KS, is seeking a full-time pastor to lead our local congregation.  We are seeking a qualified candidate who is a married man that adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Preaching / teaching of God’s word and scheduled services
• Spiritual oversight of the congregation
• Administrative oversight of church business and functions
• Visitations and spiritual counseling

Qualifications for this candidate will be as specified in 1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-3

JSBC is a Southern Baptist church with an average attendance of 60 people located in Eureka, KS, a rural community located in the Flint Hills of Kansas.  County population is 6,000; city population is 2,300.  Eureka is the county seat of Greenwood County and home of the Greenwood County Hospital.  USD 389 has Pre-K through Grade12 schooling in modern facilities.
