Middle School Ministry Lead Part Time

LakeHills Community Church in Lake Elsinore, CA is looking for the right individual to help lead our Middle School Ministry Program. This position is a paid, part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities & Duties Include:
– Develop and lead weekly youth group meetings

– Teach and lead Bible studies
– Help recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
– Collaborate with other church staff and ministries to integrate youth activities into the larger church community 
– Communicate regularly with parents and keep them informed about upcoming events and activities
– Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all youth
– Encourage youth participation in church services and activities
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments

Desired Qualifications & Skills:
– Received or Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Christian Ministries, or a related field
– Experience working with youth in a church or related setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers
– Proven leadership and organizational abilities
– Creative and committed work ethic
– Sensitivity to the diverse needs and backgrounds of youth
– Commitment to the mission and values of the church
– Strong personal faith and understanding of Christian teachings
– Ability to mentor and build relationships with youth
– Ability to pass a background check
