Associate Pastor – Students Full Time

Laurel Hill Baptist Church is seeking a biblically qualified Associate Pastor – Students to lead LHBC’s ministry focus to students from kindergarten through college age, with a special focus on our Middle and High School students. As a fellow Elder/Pastor of LHBC, the Associate Pastor – Students will also support the ministry of LHBC by working alongside the Senior Pastor to minister to the broader church family. The Associate Pastor – Students’ primary responsibilities are to equip and lead volunteer teams for children and youth ministries, partner with and resource parents in the discipleship of their children, and develop and implement a plan to raise up disciples in the next generation in our church and community. He is expected to be an example to the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Please send resumes to [email protected].

Qualifications

Meets the character and leadership qualifications for pastors/elders described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4).
Life: A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life marked by spiritual maturity, integrity, and humility.
Doctrine: Wholehearted alignment with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, The Danvers Statement, & The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.
Education: Undergraduate degree. Preferably with some theological training.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relational skills
Experience: Preferably some church staff experience
