Senior Pastor Full Time

Legacy Baptist Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth, community outreach, and pastoral care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong biblical foundation, excellent leadership skills, and a heart for discipleship and evangelism.

Key Responsibilities:

Preaching and Teaching:

• Deliver engaging and biblically sound sermons that encourage discipleship among the congregation.
• Lead Bible studies, discipleship programs, and educational initiatives to deepen the spiritual growth of members.

Leadership and Vision:

• Collaborate with church leadership and staff to develop and implement the church’s vision and long-term goals.
• Provide spiritual and administrative oversight to church ministries and programs.

Pastoral Care:

• Offer pastoral counseling, support, and care to church members and their families during times of need.
• Visit members in hospitals, homes, and other settings to provide comfort and encouragement.

Community Engagement:

• Foster relationships with the local community, promoting outreach programs and initiatives.
• Encourage church participation in community service and missions.

Staff Development:

• Mentor and support church staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of ministry leaders.

Worship Planning:

• Collaborate with the worship team to plan and lead meaningful worship services that glorify God.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Baptist theology and a commitment to the mission and values of Legacy Baptist Church.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and cultivate a sense of community within the church.
