Locust Grove Baptist Church, founded in 1841, is seeking candidates for a fulltime pastor. We are a small rural church located in the County of Calloway in Western KY. We have an average Sunday morning attendance of 30. Locust Grove is associated with the Blood River Baptist Association, KY Baptist Association, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000. Interested candidates should meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. A successful candidate should be licensed to preach in KY and be an ordained Southern Baptist minister. Pastor must keep himself from worldly affairs and above approach in conduct and finances. In addition to preaching the Bible and seeking salvation of the lost, the pastor must work with the congregation on achieving the spiritual and numerical growth of the congregation. *Newly renovated parsonage available, if necessary.
