Magalia Pines Baptist Church in the Northern California mountain community of Magalia is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Pastor to lead a church that is full of great potential and is welcoming new growth and many unique opportunities.  

Located midway between Sacramento and Redding, California, Magalia is a community that is home to a varied population of all ages and affords easy access to several nearby communities as well. 

Following the devastating wildfire in November 2018 our church embraced special opportunities to connect with and serve the community, and given this special situation, as Magalia continues to rebuild and grow, we look forward to maintaining and expanding our outreach. 

Currently we hold an annual summer carnival for the community, VBS, and Trunk-or-Treat events, and our weekly meetings include Sunday morning worship service and sermon review Sunday evenings, Sunday School for all ages – pre-school through adults, Children’s Church, Prayer Meeting, Bible Study and Men’s and Women’s Bible study groups. 

Aside from ministering to our close-knit congregation, our Senior Pastor will connect with and impact our growing community and unique ministries here and abroad, as our church supports and is closely involved with schools and churches around the world, including ones currently active in Kenya, Malaysia, and Pakistan. 

The annual salary for this position is $70K, which includes medical and dental benefits and housing allowance.
