College Ministry Director, part-time  

Situated right next to California State University Northridge (CSUN), Mandarin Baptist Church of San Fernando Valley is looking for someone to spearhead our college outreach to students studying at CSUN and surrounding colleges. We hope to share the Gospel and make disciples of our local college students. 

This position reports to the English Ministry Pastor and also involves supporting our youth ministry.  

Job Description:  

Responsibilities include the following:  

Reach out, develop, and establish a viable college ministry for MBCSFV.  
Work with the church to evangelize college students.  
Strategize and carry out discipleship for college students 
Lead and oversee college programs and events 
Recruit volunteers to serve in college ministry 
Attend our English Sunday services 
Attend and support our young adults Sunday fellowship 
Be available to support our youth ministry
Qualifications:

Has experience with college ministry

Interested in building a college ministry from the ground up

Having a seminary degree or in the process of pursuing one will be a plus

Good people skills

Team player

Passion for outreach

Agree with The Baptist Faith and Message

Hours and Compensation: 20 to 25 hours per week, $25-$30/hour depending on experience
