Bi-Vocational Pastor Part Time

Mellow Valley Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor to serve as shepherd, teacher, and leader of our church family. We are looking for a pastor—not simply a preacher—who desires to walk closely with our people, faithfully proclaim God’s Word, and help guide our congregation toward spiritual maturity and healthy growth.

Our church has approximately 65 active members and a strong sense of fellowship and commitment. The Lord has also provided facilities that allow for significant growth, including seating for up to 250, a separate fellowship building with a commercial kitchen, and additional space suitable for future classroom expansion.

• A servant-leader who values discipleship, visitation, and congregational care
• A steady leader with a desire to see the church grow in both depth and number
• Availability to serve in a bi-vocational role

Ministry Expectations & Compensation
This position includes Sunday morning and evening services and Wednesday evening service. Compensation is expected to range from $400–$600 per week, commensurate with experience and responsibilities.

Doctrinal Affirmation
The pastor must affirm the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the core beliefs historically held by Southern Baptist churches.
