Minister of Music and Worship Full Time

Meridian Baptist Church of Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking a full-time minister of music and worship. This position consists of leading a praise team and choir on Sunday mornings, giving guidance to all areas of music for all ages, conducting seasonal choir special performances, and working alongside the pastor and other staff to facilitate God honoring services each week. A more detailed description is available upon request. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, creative, and can bring leadership into the praise and worship ministry of our church. Audio/visual experience is a plus. Our church does have multiple staff members, so the ability to work with a team is a must. Meridian Knoxville is a church of around 150 in worship attendance in a growing region of the state. We enjoy hymns, contemporary songs, choir specials, and solos as a part of our worship experience. Our desire is to be mission minded in all we do, including our weekly corporate worship gatherings. We currently have an adult choir and praise team.
