Youth Ministry Leader Full Time

The Youth Pastor is responsible for leading and developing the church’s youth ministry, fostering spiritual growth among young people, and providing guidance in their faith journey. This role requires a deep commitment to Christian values and a passion for mentoring youth.

Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership:

Preach and teach age-appropriate sermons and Bible studies.
Mentor and disciple young people in their faith and relationship with Christ.
Lead small groups and prayer meetings.
Train and equip youth in discipleship to share the gospel with others.
Program Development & Implementation:

Plan and organize engaging youth programs, retreats, and special events.
Coordinate youth-focused events such as camps, conferences, and mission trips.
Develop and adapt relevant curriculum for youth ministry.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support youth activities.
Pastoral Care:

Provide pastoral counseling and support to youth.
Build strong relationships with young people and offer mentorship.
Respond to crises and provide spiritual guidance in challenging situations.
Partner with parents to support the spiritual development of their children.
Administrative Duties:

Manage and oversee the youth ministry budget.
Provide regular reports to church leadership and attend staff meetings.
Maintain clear communication with youth, parents, and volunteers.
Oversee the management of youth ministry facilities.
Community Outreach:

Engage with the local community through events and service initiatives.
Plan and lead at least one mission trip annually for youth participation.
Foster connections with other youth ministries and faith-based organizations.

Qualifications:

Strong Christian faith with a passion for youth ministry.
Experience in youth ministry or a related field preferred.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to connect with and inspire young people.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to complete child protection training and pass background checks.
