Overview
Mosaic is a modern, family-oriented church seeking a Full-Time Pastor of Discipleship who will champion spiritual growth and life transformation across every stage of life — from birth through adulthood. This key leader will oversee the entire discipleship pathway, ensuring alignment, synergy, and vision clarity across all ministries.
We are looking for someone who is strategic, relational, gospel-centered, and passionate about developing leaders and discipling families at all age levels. The right candidate will also bring fresh energy and leadership to help take our youth ministry to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Discipleship Strategy & Leadership
•Oversee and refine a comprehensive discipleship strategy for kids, students, and adults.
•Ensure alignment across all age-based ministries with the overall vision and mission of the church.
•Create clear “next steps” for spiritual growth — from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples.
•Mentor, encourage, and support ministry leaders and volunteers.
Family Ministry Oversight
•Provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers who are currently overseeing children’s ministry, student ministry, and adult groups.
•Equip and empower parents as they strive to disciple their children.
•Encourage intergenerational connections within the church body.
Youth Ministry Development
•Personally invest in and help grow our vibrant, Christ-centered youth ministry.
•Build relationships with students and parents; equip and mentor youth volunteers.
•Bring energy, structure, and creativity to a growing student community.
Small Group Ministry Leadership
•Provide strategic oversight and vision for the church-wide small group ministry.
•Recruit, train, and support small group leaders to foster healthy, thriving groups.
•Manage systems for onboarding new members into small groups and connecting newcomers with community.
•Guide and assist group leaders in choosing Biblically-sound curriculum.
•Evaluate group health and structure for growth, multiplication, and discipleship effectiveness.
Other Ministry Responsibilities
•Collaborate with staff to plan and execute our fun and engaging community outreach events throughout the year. (i.e. Bouncehouse at festivals, float in parades, Daddy/Daughter Date Night, VBS, etc…)
•Perform various administrative and pastoral tasks that help carry the weekly office load.

Lead by example through participation in a Small Group.

Approach this position with flexibility, recognizing that God is continually refining the ministry of Mosaic Church. A heart of servanthood and a willingness to adapt to what God is calling us to, as a church, is of great importance.
Have a complete commitment and loyalty to the vision of Mosaic Church. Submit to the leadership and overall direction with a humble heart, always protecting the unity that God has given this church.
Attend monthly all-staff meetings that are held outside of typical business hours.
Qualifications
•A growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
•Servant leadership, marked by an attitude that truly believes no job is beneath you is vital.
•Minimum of 3–5 years of ministry experience.
•Passionate about discipleship and spiritual formation at every age level
•Strong leadership and organizational skills with a collaborative spirit
•Effective communicator with the ability to inspire, equip, and develop others

•Can preach and teach the Word when called upon
•Know your way around Canva or other graphic design tools to help with our online presence and communications
