Student and Family Minister/Director Full Time

Mt. Zion Baptist Church (7015 Rivoli Drive, Macon, GA) is seeking a full-time Student and Family Minister/Director to plan programs and provide ministerial services to children, youth, and their families.
Qualifications:
1) Christian in belief and action
2) Love for children/youth
3) Experience working with and planning for children/youth preferred
Basic job responsibilities include:
• Develop program in which children can build a foundational trust in and knowledge of the Christian faith.
• Plan and provide direction for those leading Children and Youth Sunday morning and Wednesday evening activities.
• Lead organization of special family events such as Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, and mission activities.
• Lead the ministries with aim to meet age-appropriate spiritual, social and developmental needs of the students.
• Position includes budgeting & fiscal responsibilities, guiding & recruiting volunteers, resource management, and program management responsibilities.
