Family Pastor Full Time

Mouth of Richland Baptist is seeking a full-time Family Pastor. We are a growing church located in Blaine, TN just outside of Knoxville. We have went through significant revitalization in the last 5 years and now have a vital need to minister to young families and implement a strategy for missions.

Responsibilities: The position will be primarily responsible for two areas: our kids ministry ranging from babies to 5th grade and all church missional efforts locally and globally. The Family Pastor will lead teams of volunteers, implement a strategy for discipleship of children, plan regular events for an active kids ministry, coordinate missions efforts and trips, teach and preach regularly, shepherd and lead parents effectively, and any other means in which to provide spiritual growth in these areas.

Cooperation: The Family Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor at Richland to provide clear discipleship growth, through Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, Wednesday night activities, and other church events throughout the year. Working as one team for clear church vision, mission, and spiritual formation. Being able to work as a team and be flexible in the role is an essential part of being at Richland.

Spiritually: Mouth of Richland is looking for a candidate that loves God and loves people. Someone with a consistent walk with Christ who has a heart for people. We are looking for someone to love and lead families to Christ. Families that are new to church as new converts or just new to our church in general. Being able to disciple and lead differing and varying families is a priority to us.

Education/Experience: We desire for the Family Pastor to have a bachelors degree and some experience working in a church. We prefer 3 years church experience working around kids and missions in a church setting. Compensation for the position will begin at $55,000+ but will be based on education and experience.
