Pastor Full Time

Mt. Nebo Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a man of God to be our full- time Pastor.  We are located in Bell, Fl which is a rural are in Gilchrist County.  The church is 2 miles from the Suwannee River with several freshwater springs in the area.  Gilchrist county schools are “A” school.  We have a congregation of faithful, loving members. We have a new four- bedroom two bath pastorium.

Qualifications:

*Born again believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

*Is called of God to be Pastor of a Church

*Believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God

*Meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9

*Be an ordained minister of the Southern Baptist Convention

*Mature, spiritual and caring man with leadership skills to lead our church in healthy spiritual growth.

*Pastor experience

Responsibilities:

*Lead and conduct services on Sunday morning & evening and Wednesday nights

*Prepare and preach Spirit filled sermons without compromising the Word.

*Work with deacons, staff and leaders

*Provide Spiritual leadership to members, staff and leaders

*Provide pastoral care through visitation of our church family

*Fellowship through social gatherings to strengthen the body of Christ

Salary negotiable, depends on experience
