New Hope Community Church in Palatine, IL (A northwest suburb of Chicago, IL) is looking for a Part-Time, (eventually Full-Time) Assistant Pastor. New Hope is a warm, friendly, and welcoming congregation. From the first time you visit you will feel right at home. This is a place where everyone will know your name. During the pandemic most churches were losing members, while New Hope experienced tremendous growth. This growth has led to the need for an Assistant Pastor. We are looking for someone who believes in the mission of the church, which is to make disciples of all nations. This person has the ability and desire to love people from all walks of life. The right person will also believe in expository preaching and is unashamed of the truth found in the Bible even if it goes against the grain of culture, knowing it is the truth that sets men free. The harvest is plenty in Palatine, IL and the surrounding suburbs. We are looking for someone who God has laid on their heart to share the good news in a city and suburb that desperately needs it. Qualifications

• Some formal Bible training (degree) preferrable
• Pastoral Qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1

Responsibility

• Expository preaching (Or willingness to learn how to preach)
• Offer direction and leadership in the area of youth ministry
• Serve in other areas as needed by Senior Pastor
