Worship Leader Part Time

We are a unified, multi cultural church in one of the fastest growing cities in Central Florida. God has blessed Northside with resources and a gospel centered vision.  We are seeking an experienced Worship Leader with a vision to grow.  2024 will be somewhat of a relaunch phase as we branch out to engage the city for Jesus’ name.  Please submit a video of you leading with resume via link. We would love to talk with you no matter what style worship leader you are.  Compensation is negotiable depending on responsibilities, but we aim to take care of our leaders.  

Key Responsibility Area #1 – Congregational Worship: Lead the congregation in worship with strong vocals and lead guitar or piano. Engage the congregation by providing the necessary energy and presence to lead an assembled group of people. Influence and support the musical direction each week with regards to song selection and elements of liturgy and theology, in coordination with the Lead Pastor and elders. Develop slides in Pro-Presenter/easy worship with worship lyrics so the congregation can participate and follow along.

Key Responsibility Area #2 – Team Scheduling & Development Recruit, develop and schedule a weekly team that makes the best use of church’s musical talent. Work with our existing band. Use Planning Center and other digital tools to schedule and communicate with team members throughout the week. Recruit, audition, develop, support and encourage worship team members. Hold weekly practices and rehearsals so that team members are prepared and present with high quality on Sunday morning. Coordinate volunteer schedules for participation in weekly services and special services like Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Easter, Vision/Worship Nights, and other events. Compensation depending on gifting, experience, and capabilities to help in other areas like technology. Please submit a video of you leading with resume via link. We are open to expand the position based on gifting and time availability, male and female candidates.  We realize bi-vocational ministry comes in all shapes and sizes. Our Senior pastor was a church planter and bi-vocational for many years.
