Bi-vocational Pastor Full Time

Oak Avenue Baptist Church, 404 N Oak Avenue, Florahome, Florida, is seeking a Bi-vocational Pastor. Oak Avenue Baptist is Southern Baptist Church in a small country town.

The pastor shall be a committed Christian whose life will demonstrate the Biblical qualifications of pastor/bishop as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-10. His beliefs shall be consistent with Oak Avenue Baptist Church’s Statement of Beliefs and the Baptist Faith and Message, and his walk with God will exemplify the teachings of the New Testament, demonstrate Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. He will testify to a clear sense of Gods call to the pastoral ministry and strong sense of God’s leadership to pastor this church. He will have a combination of formal education and demonstrate experience in pastoral ministry. Preference to teach/preach from the King James Version Bible.
