Senior Pastor Full Time

Oak Forest Baptist Church, Fletcher North Carolina is seeking a full-time Pastor who will provide pastoral care and oversee the spiritual development of the congregation.  We seek an individual who has a passion for God’s Word, who has a love for people and who will help us reach our community for Christ and help the Church grow.

Oak Forest is located on the outskirts of the Asheville/Hendersonville N.C. area.  We have approximately 45 to 50 in attendance on Sundays.  We have Sunday morning Services and Wednesday evening Bible studies.  We have a congregation of mixed ages and sincerely desire to expand our ministry to all age groups. The motto of our Church is “To Know. To love. To Grow” and we seek an individual to help us do just that.

We seek an individual who will provide spiritual and administrative leadership while meeting the Biblical characteristics and proven character listed in in 1 Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 6-9, and 1 Peter 5: 1-3.  We also seek someone is aligned with the Southern Baptist Convention’s 2000 “Baptist Faith and Message.”

Preference will be given to the candidates who are:

·       Ordained Southern Baptist Ministers

·       Seminary or Bible College graduates

·       Experienced in the role of Senior Pastor
