Are you passionate about seeing middle and high school students come to know Jesus, grow in

their faith, and live out their calling?

Oakridge Baptist Church is a warm, relational Southern Baptist congregation in the St. Louis

Metro region in the city of St. Peters, MO. We are a church family that deeply values community,

discipleship, and supporting the next generation. We are seeking a part-time Youth Minister to

help lead, guide, and champion our youth (6th–12th grade) as they navigate their faith journey.

If you are looking for a ministry environment where you can disciple students and lead them to

proclaim the gospel, we would love to meet you!

Why You’ll Love Serving Here:

• True Flexibility: While you will have a dedicated personal office available for study,

prep, and meetings, there are no required office hours. We value your time and encourage

a healthy ministry-life balance.

• Supportive Leadership: You will work directly alongside our Senior Pastor and a

collaborative Ministry Coordination Team that is genuinely invested in your success,

growth, and family.

• A Place to Build and Dream: You will have the creative freedom to develop a fresh,

vibrant vision for our youth ministry in alignment with our church’s mission.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

• Discipleship & Teaching: Lead and oversee the educational side of the youth ministry

(Sunday School, small groups, and other times). You will serve as the primary teacher for

our youth on Wednesday nights.

• Events & Fellowship: Plan, organize, and execute engaging regular activities, including

monthly events, camps, retreats, outreach, and Bible studies.

• Team Leadership: Counsel with church leadership to recruit, enlist, and equip adult

volunteers who love working with students.

• Partnering with Parents: Maintain clear, regular communication with parents and

volunteers regarding upcoming events, curriculum, and youth news.

• Stewardship & Collaboration: Propose and manage a yearly youth budget and serve as an

active, collaborative member of our Ministry Coordination Team.

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications):

• A Committed Disciple: A born-again believer with a clear personal testimony of faith in

Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Your life should reflect a priority on your personal

relationship with God, spouse, and family.• A Clear Calling: Someone with an open, authentic calling to serve youth and walk with

them through these critical developmental years.

• Doctrinal Alignment: Full agreement with and adherence to the Baptist Faith and

Message 2000.

• An Engaged Member: A commitment to attend weekly worship services and actively

participate in the life of our church community.

• Experience: Prior experience in youth ministry is a plus, but it is not required. We are

happy to mentor and walk alongside someone stepping into their first ministry role!

• Safety First: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Position Type: Part-Time

• Pay: Competitive part-time salary, paid weekly

• Work Environment: Dedicated personal office space provided on-site (no mandatory

office hours)

• Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) included
