Minister to Students and Families Full Time

Olivet Baptist Church located in Dublin, Georgia is seeking a full-time student minister. Our former full-time student minister of 11.5 years faithfully served well and laid a strong foundation, building a group of spiritually disciplined and dependent volunteers. Here at Olivet, youth consists of students 6th-12th grade and average attendance is 20+/- on Sundays and 30+/- on Wednesdays. The main focus of this position would be primarily  youth, however the student pastor would oversee the children’s ministry and it’s volunteers. Awana is our currently our largest children’s ministry and we faithfully have 20+ adult volunteers! Olivet is the size of most average SBC churches with 70+ in Sunday small groups and 95+ attending worship. We understand very well the in’s and out’s of ministry, therefore it is important for the candidate to flexible, well because, effective ministry is flexible. Our main goal at Olivet is to expand the Kingdom of God, and we believe whole heartly that while heaven will have people who look, talk, and act like us…we are very much aware that it will be full of people who don’t. So, our goal is to engage the community, spread the love of Christ, and take as many people to heaven with us as possible! It will be hard work, that’s for sure…but, oh it will be so worth it!
