Senior Pastor Full Time

Parkway Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church seeking the person who God has chosen to be our Senior Pastor. Parkway is a twelve-year-old multi-staff church with a multi-generational membership of over four hundred located in a growing area of Harrison County just twelve miles north of the beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We are a congregation devoted to living out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment as a healthy expression of the Body of Christ. Our Mission Statement is Serving God by Loving People! We are also a congregation that has a traditional-style worship service with a blend of hymns and choruses accompanied by piano and organ, although we occasionally incorporate other instruments in our worship services. We have a choir.

We are seeking an individual to be our Senior Pastor who:

·       possess the spiritual, personal and character qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-8 and Titus 1 6:9 and exhibits the fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23;

·       possess excellent oral and written communication skills;

·       possess a servant’s heart, is caring and compassionate, able to relate and to interact with all age groups, and has a deep concern for those who do not know the Lord;

·       is committed to obey and fulfill his calling from God;

·        is a Non-Calvinistic minister ordained by Church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention;

·       holds at least a Master’s Degree in Divinity from an accredited Southern Baptist Seminary;

·       has at least five years of experience as a senior pastor of an SBC affiliated church,
