Responsibilities

·         Children: Birth-6th grade

·         Coordinate and oversee Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night programming

·         Recruitment, training, coordination of and communication with volunteers and parents – follow up as needed

·         Choose and develop curriculum and provide necessary materials for volunteers

·         Teach God’s Word

·         Develop strategy for whole family discipleship, as well as new believer discipleship

·         Contact all visitors during the week following their visit

·         Oversee annual programs: VBS, camp, etc.

·         Provide opportunities for children to accept Christ as their Savior – share the gospel and counsel children in the decision-making process

·         Establish safety protocol and develop a system for background checks

·         Develop an annual budget for the Children’s Ministry and oversee expenditures in order to maintain it

·         Create opportunities to reach unchurched families in the community

·         Provide mission opportunities for children to serve

·         Provide pastoral care to children and their families

·         Communicate with families, as well as the community, using technology/social media

·         Maintain proper facility care in the children’s department

Job Type: Full-time

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Biblical training a plus.

Salary: $45,000-$55,000
