Associate Pastor Full Time

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Creedmoor, NC is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor. We are a growing, conservative congregation that is seeking to expand our effectiveness of ministry. The church averages over 450 in attendance each week with a Sunday School enrollment of over 600. Candidates should have 3 years of vocational ministry experience and seminary and theological training consistent with evangelical and Baptist doctrine. The Associate Pastor is to be a co-laborer in the spiritual leadership of the church, working under the guidance of the Senior Pastor. He is a Christian man and role model, who is Scripturally qualified to hold the church office of pastor in accordance with 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; and 1 Peter 5:1-4. He will work as part of a pastoral team in the development of the overall plans for guiding the church through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. He will work with church staff, to train and develop lay leaders. He will assist the Senior Pastor in overseeing ministries providing pastoral guidance, training, and administrative oversight. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
