Bi vocational Student Minister/Director
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in New Albany, MS is prayerfully seeking a Bi-vocational Student Minister/Director for our students in grades 7-12. The church is located about 3 miles out of the city limits of New Albany. We are a mutigenerational church with an average attendance of 80 on Sunday mornings. We have an average of 15 youth on Wednesday nights.

The Student Minister/Director will be responsible in ensuring our students have the opportunities to help them better understand how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. This will be through the teaching of God’s word in Sunday School, on Wednesday Nights, as well as through other opportunities such as Missions, camps, and other events as The Lord leads. Encourage a Gospel focused mindset among the youth by training and teaching them to share The Gospel.

Anyone interested in being a candidate should be mature and continuing to grow in their personal walk with Christ.
They must love students and desire to see them fully committed to The Lord.
They must desire to support and encourage the students outside the normal services and activities of the church.
They must love The Lord and His Church.
