Pastor Full Time

Our small-town Church, located in the Northern most part of North Carolina and bordering the state line of Virginia, is a day trip drivable to the ocean or the mountains. We are seeking a Pastor called by God to Shepherd our Church using the gifts of the Holy Spirit to lead the Church in carrying out the Great Commission for the purpose of expanding the kingdom of God. The Pastor would be responsible to the Church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach the biblical revelation, show love for people in outreach ministry and pastoral care, grow believers in their discipleship, and be able to relate and encourage all ages. The ideal candidate should have an active, transparent prayer life as the foundation of his ministry. He must be a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel. Our Pastor must demonstrate appropriate theological, doctrinal, and administrative skill, and belief of the 2000 Baptist and Message Statement to adequately fulfill the requirements of the position. Degrees are admirable, but a bible-based heart rendered sermon followed by a powerful alter call is what Providence Baptist Church is yearning for.
