Youth Pastor Full Time

We are seeking a Youth Pastor to join our Providence Baptist Church family. The ideal candidate loves Jesus and dedicated to working with young people. They should desire to share the love of Christ with them and lead our youth ministry, which includes teaching, discipleship, outreach, and fellowship activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shepherd and develop the Youth team, including both staff and volunteers.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd all student ministry volunteers.
• Develop and implement a youth ministry program that meets our students’ spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to youth volunteers and leaders.
• Teach and preach the Word of God to students.
• Build relationships with parents and families to create a supportive and cohesive community.
• Build relationships with students by being active in local high schools (as allowed) and visiting them periodically.
• Create a fun and welcoming environment that encourages students to grow in their relationship with Christ and with one another.
• Assist the Pastor with other ministry needs.

Qualifications:

• A deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (divinity, theology, Christian education, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience in youth ministry or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents.
• Understanding and alignment with the BFM 2000 and practices.
