Principal Function:

  • The Interim Worship Pastor is a temporary, part-time position. It is offered on an “as-needed” basis.

Responsibilities:

  • The Interim Worship Pastor will be responsible for the preparation, practice, and leading of the Sunday worship services.
  • He will be expected to be in the office on Wednesdays. The Interim will also be on premises for practice with the RHBC band.
  • He will coordinate with RHBC musicians, vocalists, and staff regarding song selections, elements of worship, and special events on Sundays.
  • The Interim coordinates with our part-time technology employee regarding any technological needs or issues. He would also need proficiency in CCLI, Song Select, and Pro Presenter.
  • He will be available to lead worship and assist families from RHBC with regard to wedding and funeral services.
  • The Interim Worship Pastor must be comfortable leading a praise band that traditionally has played “blended” worship sets. We typically have hymns and praise songs in set-lists.
