Youth/Next Generation Minister Part Time

Role and Responsibilities
·        Responsible for ministry to 6th-12th grade students including Sunday morning & Wednesday evening programming, activities for spiritual outreach & growth with goals and timelines, mission/service opportunities & spiritual care for students and their families.

·        Develop a yearly Youth Ministry & VBS budget for submission to the Finance Ministry Team

·        Plan and conduct special projects and outings (such as camps, fundraisers, youth mission projects, etc.)

·        Enlist workers to assist with youth group outings

·        Regularly attend scheduled church services/activities

·        Design and implement a youth outreach program

·        Support the Ministry of the Children’s Coordinator

·        Plan and organize Vacation Bible School (VBS)

·        Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor

Qualifications and Education Requirements
·        Must be a born-again Christian and subscribe to the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.

·        Called to serve the Lord through ministry to youth and their families

Preferred Skills
·        Have a CDL, with bus endorsement, or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire date

Additional Notes
·        We are looking for a passionate self-starter who desires to see this next generation of students come to know and follow Jesus Christ.  This Youth/Next Generation Minister must be willing to accept the challenge of building a Youth Program from the ground up.

·        Must practice and teach tithing

Must not teach Calvinism
